Moira Bonner- a BDCC Level 2 Dressage Specific Recognised Coach Moira has been teaching in Dorset for 24 years, specialising in the more nervous/novice rider to help them gain confidence. She also coaches more established partnerships to help improve their competition records. Actively competing in Affiliated Dressage Moira most recently qualified for the 2020 Area Festival BD Championships
Jac Cowley– Jac qualified as a BHSAI in 1993. Her passion is Dressage and improving relaxation in both horse and rider. Working with all age groups, and having undergone major surgery herself, she is very aware how different injuries can affect riders and has many techniques that can help. This is especially welcomed by our more senior riders! Having ridden horses up to Advanced Medium, Jac has a very successful BD record and has won 3 National Dressage Championship Titles. Ben Liles– based at Moreton Ben (BHSIT) is a 3* International event rider who also competes at Advanced Dressage. He has competed at National & Regional Dressage Championships up to Advanced Medium and International level BE. In the UK he trains with Eric and Lizzel Winter, Targa Hammond and Nicola Buchanan. He coaches all levels from PC and RC members all the way through to International Event and Dressage horses and their riders.
Millie Tonks– a BE and BHS Accredited Professional Coach for 16 years, Millie has over of 25 years Coaching experience. She is a current Member of the British Eventing Coach Development Programme with Yogi Breisner as her Mentor. Formerly competing at BE 3* and 4* level, she continues to compete in BE and at Medium Level BD. Millie is very approachable and has a talent for bringing out the best in horse and rider partnerships of all ages and abilities.
Rochelle Wilson– the youngest of the group Roxy is a BHS Stage 3 Coach. Having qualified in 2013 she brings a fresh approach showing great enthusiasm and positivity. She enjoys helping the horse/rider partnership grow in confidence whilst also having fun. Working mainly with our younger members she is equally well respected by our older groups. She currently competes BE on horses that she has backed and trained herself.
All of our instructors hold BHS qualifications. They are all DBS checked and have current First Aid Certificates.
